Communicating Astronomy with the Public 2013, Warsaw, Poland

This Monday CAP2013 kicks off in Warsaw, Poland with a programme packed with activities I can’t wait to take part in.

To quote the organisers, CAP “aims to showcase the fantastic use of astronomy and space science in outreach and bring together producers of astronomical and space-related information (research scientists and industry representatives), public information officers (connected with large observatories and space missions), and the mediators (science journalists, staff members from museums, science centres and planetariums).”

It’s a must-attend if you are an astronomy communicator. I therefore recommend following #CAP2013 for live updates from the conference. I’m sure many of us will share what we learn! I sure plan to!

Very interesting schedule. Do you know if the proceedings are to be freely distributed?
